José Manuel Casado Bizcocho (born 9 August 1986 in Coria del Río, Seville) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Rayo Vallecano in La Liga, as a left defender.
After starting his football formation at Sevilla FC, Casado finished it at FC Barcelona. Having only represented the Catalans' C team (soon to be extinct), he returned to his hometown, appearing two seasons for reserves Sevilla Atlético, then in Segunda División.
A defensive stalwart for the B's, Casado also appeared twice for the main squad during 2007–08, the first being on 11 November 2007, in a 2–3 loss at Villarreal CF. In the following two seasons, after Sevilla B' relegation, two consecutive top division loans ensued, both in Andalusia: first with Recreativo de Huelva, where he played in half of the season's matches, and newly promoted Xerez CD, where he appeared more, but ultimately meeting the same fate, relegation.
In July 2010, Casado was definitely released by Sevilla, signing a two-year deal with Rayo Vallecano. He was first-choice in his first season as the club returned to the top flight after an absence of eight years.
